Age and Documents
- Minimum renter age — 21 years;
- Minimum driving experience — 2 years.
Required Documents
- Passport (domestic or international);
- Valid driver’s license recognized in Ukraine;
- Tax Identification Number (for Ukrainian citizens);
- For foreigners — a document confirming legal stay in Ukraine.
Usage Territory and Mileage
- Vehicles may only be used within Ukraine;
- Cross-border travel is strictly prohibited;
- Use of the car in Crimea or ORDLO is forbidden;
- Daily mileage limit — 350 km (300 km for premium cars), accumulated over the rental period;
- Exceeding the mileage limit will incur additional charges as per company rates.
Security Deposit
- Paid upon contract signing;
- Amount depends on the selected vehicle;
- Can be paid in cash or by card.
Part of the deposit may be withheld in case of:
- Incomplete fuel tank upon return;
- Vehicle returned dirty;
- Minor damages or rental extension.
If all conditions are met, the deposit is fully refundable.
Insurance
- Mandatory third-party liability (OSAGO);
- Optional full coverage (CASCO);
- Cars are issued only with a security deposit.
Payment Methods
- Cash;
- Bank card;
- Bank transfer to a company or private entrepreneur account (with or without VAT);
- Full prepayment for the rental period is required.
Car Pickup and Return
- At the RentCarKiev office — free during working hours;
- Delivery or return outside office hours or location — additional fee applies;
- Cars are provided clean and with a full tank;
- Returning the car dirty or without fuel — deposit deduction.
Prohibited Uses
- No racing, taxi services, towing, or transport of animals/goods;
- Minimum rental period — 2 days;
- Late return over 1 hour — extra charges apply.
Additional Services
- GPS — free of charge (upon request);
- Wi-Fi — $2/day;
- Child seat — free of charge (subject to availability);
- Car delivery/return outside the office — from $25 to $30.
